Genesis Blacksmithing

Genesis Blacksmith is an independent maker and blacksmith based in Stoke-on-Trent, creating handcrafted metalwork, sculptural pieces, and bespoke forged designs. Using traditional blacksmithing techniques alongside modern creative processes, each piece is made with care, character, and individuality.

Working from a building in Stoke-on-Trent that originally served as a forge in the 1850s, Genesis designs and creates everything from decorative forged items and copper work to custom commissions and one-of-a-kind artistic pieces. The work blends practical craftsmanship with artistic expression, celebrating both function and storytelling through metal.

Having grown up in Stoke-on-Trent, the connection to Staffordshire is deeply personal. Living and working in the area has shaped both the maker and the work, and being able to forge metal in a space with such historic roots feels like a meaningful link to the city’s long tradition of industry and craftsmanship.”
