The Pottery at Studio 5 has been making and teaching pottery for over 10 years.
Jane provides lessons for small groups in a quiet environment as she found herself to be over stimulated in large pottery workshops and wants to offer a comfortable alternative.
| Jane is a proud potter and has been running her pottery studio for over 10 years. Offering workshops and individual lessons. Based in a Victorian pottery with Bottle Kilns built in the 1850s when hundreds of kilns would have dominated the skyline, it must have been a very tough place to work and live. Stoke on Trent is a place often used in national news to talk about deprivation but there is a creative heart in this city, hundreds of makers quietly making in studios, sheds, kitchens and glorious old buildings.
